fentanyl addiction
Maybe someone has had experience overcoming a fentanyl addiction? I would like to know how to go through the withdrawal process — what is most important, how long does it last, and is it realistic to do it without clicks? It's very worrying because it helps loved ones, and there is almost no support from the outside.

Re: fentanyl addiction
Indeed, withdrawal from fentanyl is a very difficult and painful process, and the risks should not be underestimated. I read the article in detail at Fentanyl Withdrawal: Symptoms, Timeline, & Treatment Options | United Recovery Project , where everything is explained step by step. They describe the symptoms - from insomnia and muscle pain to severe anxiety and seizures - and provide information about the time frame for each stage of withdrawal. Most importantly, they emphasize the role of professional help - not only from doctors, but also through the support of therapists, proper medication and creating a safe environment. This is not a path that should be taken alone. If possible, it is better to choose medical support, even if it seems like "just withdrawal."
